Fast Food Price Index 2026
What a Big Mac really costs around the world — 23 countries, in local currency, updated daily.
MenuPriceToday tracks real menu prices across 23 countries. The figures below are the standalone Big Mac(the burger on its own — not a meal, combo or promotion), each shown in its country's own local currency. We deliberately don't convert everything into one currency: exchange rates move constantly, and a snapshot conversion can mislead. Showing the genuine local price is the most honest, verifiable way to report what the burger actually costs where you are. The data is updated daily and last refreshed recently.
Right now the cheapest standalone Big Mac in our index is in United Kingdom at £6.16, while the priciest is in Pakistan at Rs982.61— a reminder that headline "Big Mac Index" comparisons depend heavily on local currency and local pricing.
Big Mac price by country
Local currency, cheapest to priciest. Bar length is relative to the priciest country in the index.
Prices are in each country's local currency and are not exchange-rate converted, so bar lengths compare currency amounts, not purchasing power.

Methodology
Sources. Prices come from the real menus we track across 23 countries — primarily public delivery-platform listings, recorded per country. We log the price of the burger as listed, not an estimate or a survey average across cities.
What "standalone Big Mac" means. We measure the Big Mac on its own — just the burger, not a meal, combo, fries or drink. Bundles and limited-time promotions are excluded so the figure is comparable country to country.
Local currency, not converted.Every price is shown in its own country's currency (£, €, $, Rs and so on). We don't convert to a single currency because exchange rates shift constantly and a one-off conversion can misrepresent what locals actually pay.
Update cadence.Prices are re-checked daily across the locations we track, and the index shows the real date it was last refreshed — never a hardcoded "today".
Limitations. Prices can change at any time and may differ from in-store or in-app prices; delivery-platform listings sometimes carry a mark-up versus counter prices; and because figures are in local currency, bar lengths reflect currency amounts rather than purchasing power.
